Your Experience Matters

Many people who have experienced narcissistic abuse feel isolated, dismissed, or unable to speak openly about what happened to them. By sharing your story, you may help others feel understood, recognised, and less alone.

The Narcissistic Abuse Foundation is collecting personal experiences for a potential future publication focused on real stories of narcissistic abuse, recovery, survival, and healing. Submissions may also help raise awareness and educate others about the long-term impact of emotional and psychological abuse.

You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. There is no “right” way to tell your story.

Please avoid including identifying information about other individuals unless you have their permission.

  • Your experience with narcissistic abuse
  • How the relationship affected your mental health or daily life
  • Patterns of manipulation, gaslighting, control, or isolation
  • Your recovery journey
